ACCOMMODATION
WHERE TO STAY
STAYS FOR ALL BUDGETS
So where do you want to stay? What's your budget?
From backpackers hostels, to beach front bungalows and Hotels,
there's accommodation for you.
Please be aware though, that if you are looking for 5 star resorts, world class penthouses of the rich and famous, Pumping night clubs and Michelin star restaurants, Port Barton isn't for you! It's not about all that. A lot of the accommodation is very basic, but there are a few newer places that offer a bit more luxury.
There's a lot of choice these days. We are not going to make recommendations as everyone is looking for something different. For the most up to date lodgings and availability take a look at BOOKING.COM or similar websites for a varied choice. Below is an overview of different types of accommodation available in Port Barton.
HOSTELS
Starting with hostels, there are a few options around the area. Try a search for your dates on Booking.com or Hostelworld. Coco Rico and My Green Hostel are two examples, which are walking distance to everything.
HOTELS, RESORTS
& GUESTHOUSES
There's a lot of choice these days. From budget friendly options, simple and basic accommodation, to something a bit more classy! Again Booking.com is a great place to start as well as Agoda. As Port Barton is a small town, all the in town accommodations are walking distance to everything and also just a few minutes (at most) to the beach.
Some examples include: Parrots Boutique Resort at the south Side of town and properties such as Holiday Suites at the beach are at the higher end. With La Palapa Inn, located near the bus terminal and Rubin Resort, very near the beach, are mid priced. While the likes of Bing-Vice Inn and Rabang Travellers Inn offer some low cost accommodations.
These are just a few of many places available, take a look online for a more extensive list and find something that meets your needs.
There are other options in Portbarton such as cottages, huts and even tents available for your stay. Below are a few photos of Palayan Paradise huts, Besaga Beachfront, Pena Plata camping and Russell place. Booking.com is again, a great place to start looking.
Each place is pretty unique. Port Barton doesn't have chain hotels and well known brands. Instead it offers local, friendly accommodations, run by local people and visitors who decided to stay and make Port Barton their home. It's great to support the people of Port Barton by staying at their places. Some of which have other branches in the likes of El Nido and Puerto Princesa.
